Accuscience win ‘Best Improvement in Patient Safety’ award

We are delighted to announce that Accuscience has won the ‘Best Improvement in Patient Safety Award’ at the IMSTA Med Tech Awards which took place last night in Dublin.

This annual awards event is a platform for the supply industry to showcase the state-of-the-art medical technologies they bring to the market and demonstrate the valuable contribution the industry is making to healthcare in Ireland.

The award is relevant to the Electronic Blood Tracking System (EBTS) project (BloodTrack®) which is a modular blood management and bedside transfusion solution that combines software with hardware components to act as an extension of the hospital blood bank transfusion management system.

Pauline McEnerney, David Donohoe & Eoin O’Riain accepted the award

Through integrated modules, BloodTrack® solutions provide the control, visibility, and traceability needed to safely and properly store, dispense, and transfuse blood products at the point-of-care and verify that the right blood is transfused to the right patient at the bedside.

“Congratulations to the entire Accuscience BloodTrack team for their commitment and dedication which secured this award.”

Dara Murphy, EBTS Project Director and Finance & Operations Director of the Pharmed Group.
